Professor Blue is a musical project by UK lyricist, songwriter and musician, Mark Goodman.

This project is a work in progress, with each song delivered and dropped as it is completed.  The narrative is a true one, following a personal story. It is sometimes a little dark but always hopeful.

  Joining the presentation of the narrative is photographer and creative designer Runs With Dogs.  Early discussions with the team and supporters found there was interest into songs and meaning, where the listener can dive deeper into what is behind the material and how we came to produce what we did. A number of comments desired a feeling for how, “back in the day”, the listener could read about and invest in music.  An example given was how vinyl albums can invested in, mulled over, touched and digested as part of the listening experience.  To that end, this website, whilst not a physical object as such (maybe we can produce the physical product at some point), it is web format providing the medium where the material can be invested in and dived into but allows, at the same time, for the creation of content and uploaded as it is produced; a web album, maybe? 

We are grateful to Runs With Dogs giving their enthusiastic commitment to this ethos to go beyond just cover design to help with photography and design of this site.

When there is sufficient appropriate material and provided the right people can be found, the vision is to develop a live show to get the entertainment juices flowing again.  Interested in becoming involved?  Let me know.
